Today in Pop-Culture's Ragnarok

Despite the one-two body-blow combination that was the passing of both an Angel and a King yesterday, I think the bigger story this morning is the uniformly bad reviews the new Transformers film is receiving. If Michael Bay has managed to screw up a movie that's sole requirements for enjoyment are giant robots smacking the crap out of one another and a few in-jokes, he should be exiled to a small island in the Bering Strait populated only by leopard seals with fresh meat affixed to his nether parts.
